Schwannoma of the fourth digit: case report

Abstract

Report of a rare case of a benign solitary schwannoma located on the right foot’s fourth digit of a 61-year-old patient is presented. Diagnosis of schwannoma was demonstrated by histopathological examination. The tumor was excised and there was no recurrence afterthree years and ten months follow up. The disease location rarity motivated the reporting.
