Abstract

In its 10 years of existence, the Revista ABTPé has been focused on its continuous improvement. The journal’s layout has been updated and modernized, we are working on making electronic access to our content easier, and we are changing the manuscript submission process. The new cover includes different colors that represent the journal’s renewal and modernization. This new design was created to improve readers’ experience. The electronic version of the journal was also redesigned to allow faster access to the content. This issue includes contributions from different regions in Brazil, which makes us proud. Orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeons have been a crucial part of our advances because of their efforts to keep our journal strong, dynamic and reliable. Evaluations and comments provided by our board of reviewers enrich all authors who submit manuscripts to our journal. Peer review contributions are fundamental to improving and maintaining the credibility of our publication. The next issue will consist entirely of contributions submitted electronically. This new process will require authors to be more careful in their submission. It will optimize the manuscript selection process and improve the quality of studies that will be published. Our main goal is to improve our degree of capability in order to obtain indexation and, consequently, improve our visibility internationally. To do so, we rely on the help of all members of ABTPé, those who provide services that enhance the quality our journal, and those working to improve the health of individuals and to expand medical and scientific knowledge. We will continue the dedication and persistence that have been our hallmark since the first issue of ABTPé, and we expect to reap the fruits of this continuous effort to seek knowledge. Our journal reflects our great effort, dedication and passion! This is our commitment! Enjoy reading.
