Giant cell tumor of the extensor digitorum brevis synovial sheath: case report

Abstract

Tenosynovial giant cell tumor is an uncommon benign neoplasmaffecting the tendon sheaths, joint capsules and synovial tissue.The purpose of this study was to report a case of giant cell tumorof the synovial sheath in an unusual site, affecting the origin ofthe tendons of the extensor digitorum brevis muscle. It discussesthe clinical features, the epidemiology, and the radiological andanatomopathological characteristics of the tumor and its treatment.
