lntroduction: the purpose of this studies is to measure and compare the forces that restricted metatarsophalangical dislocation and to show the important of repairing the anatomy in the preliminary condition. Material and methods: fifteen frozen cadaveric pieces of adult feet without vascular pathology were studied. Disarticulation of the first third metatarsophalangical joint and dissection of the lateral ligament structure plate plantar of the second toe. Vertical traction was applied from the phalange employing a two Newton preloaded and measuring it with the universal experimental machine (Shimadzu model AG 100 Kng). The pieces were divided into: Group A: control group (3 pieces) Group B: lateral ligament section of the M-F joint from the second toe (3 pieces) Group C: plantar plate section (3 pieces) Group D: section of both structure (3 pieces) Group E: restoration with from flexor to extensor transference (3 pieces). Results: the required strange dislocation the joint was less in group B comparated to group C much less in group D and similar to control control group in group E. Conclusion: The study allowed us measure and compare the intrinsic M-F instability and verify results with the reparation coming to the to the conclusion that the lateral ligament and plantar plate an important to stabilize the dislocation.
