Osteosíntesis en fracturas intraarticulares de calcáneo sanders II y III

We present a retrospective review of the 18 cases of displaced intra-articular calcaneal fractures (6 Sanders type ll and 12 type lll) in 17 patients operated at our hospital, with a mean follow-up of 3,22 years. Open reduction and internal fixation with lambda plate form lateral approach of Benirschke was performed. Pre and postoperative radiographs associated with the AOFAS foot score were categorized. The results were considered good and fair in 94,3% of the cases, in spite of the restoration of Bohler y Gissane angles in the 83,30% and 77,7% of the patients respectively. Complications associated with the surgical procedure were showed in 22,2% of the patients.
