Osteotomía proximal del primer metatarsiano estudio de resultados en hallux valgus moderado y severo

lntruduction: one surgical option in moderate to servere hallux valgus is open wedge proximal osteotomy. Surgical technique and osteosynthesis method depends on surgeon experience and preference. Objective: top resents the results insurgical y treated patients with moderate and severe hallux valgus, treated with open wedge proximal osteotmy of the first metatarsal. Patients and method: two surgeons (SFC, HAZ) retrospective review. Same surgical technique. Xrays in pre, post, six weeks and last visit postop. 65 patients, 99 feet. lntermetatarsal and hallux valgus angles considered. Clinical parameters in preop and last visit. Results: Follow up 6,5 months. IMA from 15° to 4,5°. HVA from 26° to 130. Clinical (f Johnson): satisfied 45, minor restrictions 22, mayor restrictions 6, insatisfied 4 over 77 feet. Complications: varus 2.pain 2.harware removal 9 ove r 77 feet. Conclusions: Results presented allow us to consider this as a safe and valid technique.
