Objective: To observe clinically and through radiographic study the results of hallux valgus operative management, using Reverdin-Isham percutaneous technique. Methods: We evaluated retrospectively 59 feet in 47 patients with mild to moderate hallux valgus, between June 2009 and July 2011. The mean age was 56,3 years and the mean post-operative follow up was 23,4 months. All patients submitted to Reverdin modified by Isham technique were evaluated before and after surgery using the American Association Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society score (AOFAS), based on radiographic studies we measured the hallux valgus angle, intermetatarsal angle and the distal metatarsal articular angle. Results: Pre-operatively, the mean AOFAS score was 47.8 points, HVA was 25,8°, IMA was 13,9° and DMAA was 11.6°, meanwhile post-operatively the AOFAS score was 88.7°, HVA 13.1°, IMA was 11.2° and DMAA was 6.1°. Conclusion: The present surgical technique was able to correct hallux valgus deformity, showing good angular correction and significant increase of AOFAS score.
